Did the Ancients have Flying Machines and Atomic Bombs?

Modern humans have existed for quite a while on Earth, significantly longer than what our history suggests. Yet, through the many thousands of years that passed before our time, it seems that technology didn't improve much from the hunter-gatherer stage. However, researchers are beginning to doubt that as there are many signs around the world that seem to suggest that ancient humans were more advanced than what we previously thought.

One of the more significant and interesting finds are some Indian Sanskrit texts. These text were written thousands of years ago and passed down through the centuries. However, what is amazing is that they seem to describe technology that would equal, if not surpass, anything we have today. There are detailed descriptions of how the flying vehicles of their time work, how they were made, the dimensions and engines and even the fuel. There are even texts written precisely to teach their "pilots" how to fly those machines.

In one of these ancient texts there is also a record of a war. A war that was fought between the ancient Rama Empire and what was translated to mean the Atlanteans (people of Atlantis). This war was devastating and there is a particular paragraph which seems to describe the dropping of a nuclear weapon. Researchers theorize that this could actually be the case, and that after this devastating war, both mighty empires were almost destroyed and humans were once again thrust into the stone age.

However, the problem with these theories is that they depend very much on the accuracy of the translation of the ancient texts. If the translations are truely accurate, then we would have found either something that would revolutionize the future (and the past) or a very detailed and ancient Science Fiction book...

Many researchers into the UFO enigma tend to overlook a very important fact. While it assumed that most flying saucers are of alien, or perhaps Governmental Military origin, another possible origin of UFOs is ancient India and Atlantis.

What we know about ancient Indian flying vehicles comes from ancient Indian sources; written texts that have come down to us through the centuries. There is no doubt that most of these texts are authentic; many are the well known ancient Indian Epics themselves, and there are literally hundreds of them. Most of them have not even been translated into English yet from the old sanskrit.
