The Living Dead
It's another early Monday morning. However, unlike previous Mondays of the past 5 plus months, I'm not at work, I'm in school. However, I'll be here full time, not unlike work, from 9:30am till 9:30pm. So I'm preparing for a long day ahead.
Now let's get to the main topic - the living dead. For those who have watched the movie "Resident Evil" and it's sequel, you'd probably know what I'm talking about. Although such stories have mostly dwelled in the realms of fiction and urban legends, there are some scientifically recorded cases of the dead rising.
For example, "there were incidents registered in medical practice, when beheaded bodies of executed people would raise to their feet and even make a few steps. One of such incidents occurred in the beginning of the 15th century in Germany, during a public execution of a sea pirate, known as Steterbreker."
Although some of these could be explained by post mortem muscle spasms, or a delayed reaction from the physical body resulting from the last signal sent by the brain, there are still more bizzare cases.
Scientists are now looking into this weird phenomenon and hopefully they will find an explanation for it. Even better, they might find a way to duplicate it, to revive people who may be classified as clinically dead now, but may not be. But at the end of the day, I hope no mad scientist decides to bring the Resident Evil story to life, cos that would certainly spoil everyone's day...

Humans believe in the possibility to bring the dead back from their graves, although the eerie perspective evokes nothing but fear
According to classic science, it is absolutely impossible for a dead person to return to the world of the living. It is generally believed that a human being will not be able to resurrect if he or she remains in the state of clinical death for more than three or five minutes, or dies from severe physical injuries.
The destruction or decomposition of the human body ceases all vital processes, which distinguish the living matter from what is usually referred to as remnants. The latter, scientists say, cannot move, see, hear, produce any sounds or perform any other functions of a living body.
