The Late Post
Today I won't be making a proper post since it's so late and I'm quite tired cos I've spent most of my weekend either touching up my report or going out. Anyway, like my friend RX who baked nice cookies, I also did something interesting today - I put lights back into my PC fan.
Ok, I know that's nothing fabulous and certainly not comparable to RX's cookies. But hey, the casing fan at the side of my PC used to look like this...

Then after about a year of nearly continuous operation, the four beautiful blue LEDs blew, and the fan became something like this, only much more dusty.

I left it in that state for the past few months since I was busy with my work and stuff. But now that my IA report is done, I just couldn't bear leaving it in that sorry state. So I took a trip down to Sim Lim Square (SLS) with the intention to buy 4 blue LEDs. However, I found that blue LEDs cost a whopping $2 each (I wonder why...), which means I'd be better off buying a new fan if I wanted to get them. So instead, I settled for cheap green LEDs that cost $0.20 each. Haha. And now the fan looks like this.

Not too bad right? It actually looks more yellow than it does in the photo and not as nice as the original, but I don't really care, as long as it still lights up my PC. :) Although I think that this is the most "beng" thing I've done in a while.
Ok that's all from me for now. Good night everyone!
