Girl with X-Ray Vision
Forgot to mention that on Wednesday I also saw the famous patron of the Ministry of Sunrise (or MHA) aka hmmm... just realised I don't know how to spell her name... Haha nvm. Anyway I saw her at Taka as well, but with her boyfriend. So the moral of the story is... Go to Orchard (more specifically Taka) on Wednesdays for a more scenic shopping experience!
Now I am sure we've all watched Superman and know that he has the ability to see through things using his "X-Ray" vision. Well, there's this girl from Russia who claims to have the same ability, well almost. She claims to have to ability to see into people's bodies, to see their organs, their bones, their blood and diagnose diseases. So far, scientists from Russia, Europe, America and Japan have independently tested this girl on her ability and surprisingly, almost all of them (other than the American scientists) have confirmed, or at least not denied, her gift.
Now for a little backgound on this special girl. Her name is Natasha Demkina (Natasha seems to be a very common name for Russians), she's 17-years-old and comes from the city of Saransk, Russia. She is currently a student of the Semashko's Moscow Medical University and discovered her special ability one day when she "saw" the blood in her mother's blood running in the veins. To date, she has alread "X-rayed" thousands of people and most went away believers in her gift.
There are some of the remarkable things she has achieved in the tests conducted by the scientists, which usually consist of requiring Natasha to give an accurate diagnosis for each patient in a group. For example, she has successfully identified a patient with a prosthetic knee, a dog with a prosthetic leg implant and even another patient with a rare spinal curvature of which she made a drawing of that matched the patient's actual X-ray photo. All of this was done without prior knowledge of who the patients are going to be or what symptoms the patients have. In fact, she claims to be able to see diseases at such an early stage that doctors can't diagnose them yet, which unfortunately cannot be verified and only serves to degrade her reputation.
Whether or not this girl really has this ability or not may not be that significant on its own. However, if scientists discover that her gift is real, then they might just discover that all humans may have this ability as well, a hidden component of our vision, something that we've neglected for so long that its become dormant. And Oh, in case those of you with dirty minds are wondering, NO, she can't only see through peoples clothes and she can't see through walls...well not yet...

British and Japanese scientists acknowledged that the girl possesses an astounding ability to see people through
Pravda.Ru has already reported about 17-year-old Russian girl, Natasha Demkina, from the city of Saransk. The girl has become known for her astounding X-ray ability to see people through and diagnose diseases. Scientist became interested in the Russian girl's phenomenon: Natasha Demkina was invited to come to London and New York for scientific experiments. British researchers unanimously acknowledged Natasha's remarkable gift, whereas American scientists hesitated to come to such a conclusion. They did not like that fact that the girl successfully diagnosed diseases with only four patients out of seven. Natasha Demkina has recently passed a similar test in Tokyo, where Japanese scientists confirmed the gift of the Russian X-ray girl.
Natasha is currently a student of the Semashko's Moscow Medical University. Yoshio Machi, a professor of the Tokyo University, invited the girl to come to Tokyo to have her abilities tested again. Professor Machi is known in the world as a scientist, who studies unusual human abilities.
